When creating link between "content types" by "category id"

For some reason Name ( art_title ) gets linked as well. How to stop this?

Your problem description is much too brief - iis this in form or search type? How are you linking this content types? Did you apply link to the art_title or is this perhaps a title coming from joomla itself?

This is a form

How are you linking this content types?

This is linked by art_catid only

Did you apply link to the art_title or is this perhaps a title coming from joomla itself?

There is no link by art_title and it gets linked somehow. I need it to be unique

Hi,

all I can see from this screenshot it that you are assigning live value 76 to the article category, this does not create a link. You can assign a link in the content view of form&content type or in list/item views of search&list types (button #2)

Ok, if I don't have a link why all of my art_title share the same data? ( labels etc )

Really confused here

Hi craziedde,

It's a bit hard from your messages here to understand what your issue is. Can you please attach some screenshots of the output of your list in the front end of your site so we can have a look and maybe try to re-explain the problem, along with what you are trying to achieve?

Please also note that this forum has some common etiquette that is listed in the rules. Please when you start a new thread, start your message with a greeting, and end your message with a salutation such as "thanks".

Thanks,

Hey!  you know we love you guys! And yes sometimes we forget to say it :)

Back on the subject the strangiest thing is that I just notice when I create a new "form" in ( form & content type )

I'm not offered default "Article Title".. I think it have something to do with me not getting unique art_title.

I think changed something.

Hi,

article title is just a text field with storage set to standard-article-title, you can create a new one and add it to your form or search type. If you add it do content view of cotnent type, don't forget to disable joomla article title or you will get 2 titles

Good morning Klas,

Sorry for confusion. I was under wrong assumption that you can have a custom art_title per each "Form & Content Type".
Correct me if I'm wront, you can't have different label value for build in fields like art_title

Hi Craziedde,

Yes of course you can have different labels - in your screenshot above you have a black circle. you have some fields in that circle with the label. You can type anything in there and it will override the label for that view.

Thanks

Hi,

Label inside field configuration is a default for all types. As James wrote, you can override this setting in the Label column in your conten type and this override will only affect this content type.

To see exactly where you can enter this labels see column inside black circle in  your first screenshot.

I must be blind :))) Thank you finally figure it out.... You don't change it in the popup but right in the loaded interface
