Hello all,

I'm trying to assign a CSS class to a field in a list table.
I go to No. 2 "Link + Markup" and in the column "Markup(Class)" I insert my classname.
But the class is not in the rendered output.

I'm using J! 3.1.1 and SEBLOD 3.1.3, List Template is seb_table, variation default.

I have more than one field per column and need to align fields in one line. Currently every field gets wrapped in <div style="clear:left"></div>.
I need to get rid of this wrapping div.

How can I do that?
Thanks

Hi Cyril,-table template.

unfortunately I wasn't able to solve it until now.

It seems that custom css classes are not supported in the seb_table template :-(

zwergo's workaround is only my last resort. I'd rather get rid of those damn wrapping divs.

Hi SEBLOD TEAM

Having to use HTML typos on fields instead of simply using classes on fileds in  list is a MAJOR problem:
  • it's much longer to do
  • not as easy as classes for our customer to change it!
  • is a problem if we want to use other html typos

I don't understand wht this bug is still unresolved . Can you tell us something please?

thanks

Hi

It seems the bug came back with Joomla 3.3.6 + Seblod 3.5.0.

With Seb_blog/seb_one the class markups in the element tab are ignored.

Can someone confirm please?

thanks

@cyril

I did a clean 3.3.6 install with blog profile and installed Seblod 3.5.0.

Then I:

-created a test article

-changed Home link to Seblod->List&Search->Articles

-in Articles List&Search type, item tab I added custom classes to fields title and introtext.

When I now go to the homepage, my test article is listed and I have my custom classes for title and introtext.

Main template: protostar.

List template: seb_blog

List item template seb_one.

So I cannot confirm the problem and I guess this is related to your template somehow. Do you have this problem on an upgraded site or a new install?

Hi

Yes It seems it only works on the native Joomla fields (title, introtext...) but NOT on our custom fields.

Seblod team, do you confirm the bug please ?

thanks
