Hello guys,
i made a site where users can fill their contents via the site form. Everything is nearly working finde, image and mp3 upload is working...
But I'm getting in trouble one step further:
Users should choose their uploaded files via Field "Media". But in frontend it's only displaying a input field with no other options.
In Backend everything is working fine.
How can I use the Media Field in Frontend / site Form ?? Is this possible??

I just tried media field with seblod 3.3.7 and joomla 3.3.3 and it works ok on the frontend with the default template. Which versions and templae do you use? Please try if this also happens with default template (protostar)

you're right, with protostar everything is working finde, i can use the media field in frontend also.
I've built a bootstrap template on my own and now I checked the scripts which are loaded with both templates (Protostar and My own Built), the scripts are the same.
What could be the issue??

here is what I found out: In my template I use Bootstrap (the version which is coming up with Joomla itself). And I use the Bootstrap CSS Bootstrap v3.1.1.
In Line 7 of bootstrap.min.css I found Class "modal" which was set on "display: none" by default.
Overwriting this class makes the Modal Link visible (and usable). The Media field doesn't look that nice like in the protostar template, but i think with overwriting i can make it nicer!!!
