Hi there,

I am having difficulty finding an answer to this questions after a few hours searching so hopefully someone can help me!

I am building a recipe site and as such have a group x with 2 fields setup for the ingredients. I can get it all working and looking good on the forms (both backend and frontend) but am having difficulty displaying the group x in the frontend (content) view. Is there any way I can set this to display as a table in the content view without delving in and making my own custom template?

Here is an image showing how the field is currently displaying - http://s13.postimg.org/pbf5dwj3r/groupx.jpg

Thanks in advance for any help

Hi,

I think this link could help you : http://www.seblod.com/v2/documentation/seblod-2x/templates/1994-calling-fieldx-and-groupx.html

It explains how to call a groupx field through php code. You can place this code in a SEBLOD variation :

Thanks for your help - I'll have a read through the links and have a play with the template, see what happens!

From your answer I assume it cannot be done without custom templating - not the end of the world as I imagine I'll be going for a full custom template eventually but it'd be nice to be able to choose how the group x is displayed in the content/intro view without having to dip into the code.

Thanks again
