I have multilanguage site with 3 languages and for list and search I made 3 search types, each for exact language.
I used Article Language field (JFrom - Content Language) on search. Made it hidden and with "Live Value" for the exact language, like en-GB.
Filter works nice and properly, but now I found out, that it filters only the articles made for exact language (ex. in DB stored en-GB), but does not include articles which are made for all languages (in DB stored value is *) which means for EN too, so the question is, how to set it up so filter takes all articles with exact language and also articles which assigned to all languages.
And this could be global question too, Live Value with separator, so it could be multiple.
I know that this is not logic some way if there is this type of filtering, but still.

can you try this: in your search type create additional field (text type) and set default value as "*", and main part is set for it same storage as default Article Language field?

You can add a value "all" in your field and as value all language separated by a comma, then change your match search to anyone.
