Hello,

I need this possibility.

I have 11 different contentypes in one databasetable. Whed I add pulishing Info I had to add each field to each conent. It would be easier to use the original Joomla field - change app folder, storage and maybe name and then save as copy. Spend a lot of time.

Maybe if this would also be possible for Forms, Lists and Templates to get a copy to add new fields etc.

Thank you.

Regards

Rainer

To avoid adding multiple fields to the multiple content types you can use group field, see article content type for example.

Ty. I think I was on the wrong way.

1. Add all Fields

2. create a form xxpublishing

3. then create group field and say form and add form xxpublishing

I also found this link

This is what I need for my forms. Creating a group xx publishing

But,

when I copy a databasetable like content or category for example for a new app with own dbtables. It would be a great help if I can save the fields from one app in the other app.

Thats what I meant originally.

That would a nice feature, yes, perhaps submit feature request on github. Meanwhile you can use fields created with storage unlocked, which means field can be used in multiple content types (like article fields that can be used in any ct)
