Hi all,

I have form with two calendar fields (1 - event start 2- event end) is it possible to create search field that show only items active (between 2 dates) in current time in the moment ?

Best regards!

Hi,

Yes it's possible with  2 search field (date) in the search list.form.

1 field with start date (configuration in button 3 >=)

2 field with end date (configuration in button 3 <=)

Exemple : http://paca.lpo.fr/sorties-nature/agenda

This works if both the start and end date are with-in the searched date range.... but say an event is over (spans) a couple of days, for example 01/01/2014 - 05/01/2014 and if your search range start date is 02/01/2014 the event will not show because the "system" doesn't know that the event is continuous.

Or am I missing something here?

I would imagine that there is some cleaver math needed to say that the event is on throughout this date period?

Does anyone have a solution?

Hi Dazza,
I think you're right. I mentioned this in a previous post in French here http://www.seblod.com/v2/forum/Discussions-G% C3% A9n% C3% A9rales/41117-Calendrier-periode.html # 44717
Here you can see http://paca.lpo.fr/sorties-nature/agenda the interval between two dates is not sought.
However, I don't have the solution.
