Hello
I set a "username" field in my user registration to "validate" - #__user - username, id
Simple enough.
However, when I actually use the form, it says, "Validating, please wait..." and nothing happens. I have another installation where this doesn't seem to have any problems...
Simply confused..

I believe it is the browser cache!
If I were you compare the fields on different sites!
In some Framewoks themes Warp example, the JS SEBLOD does not work!

Thanks. I didn't even think it could be a cache issue. In either case, it's working now.
At least now I have a direction to go in, should it happen again.

I had a similar problem. Submit button send to a blank content, without saving anything.
In my case, it was a conflict with my joomla template jquery.js. I removed it from the header in my index.php. Worked fine.
