I've been working some hours with creating a search for a client site. And I can not overcome the issue of relevance.

The search at hand is "rud rs" - and as you can see the #2 is the most relevant hit for this.
There is no way with Seblod to make it prioritize for instance hits that have the keyword in one particular field (see under the title of the search item, you can see the producer).
In Joomla smart search you have a way of giving weight to what part of the search is more important. Like title gives a score of 1,2, while meta description gives only 0,8. Hence, results with the keyword in title is prioritized.
What if we went away and created a plugin to add fields, add a number for prioritization, and then order the search results according to this?
I do not have the skills to do this myself, but I have money to chip on to you who do have the skills.
Anyone with me on getting the Seblod Search pimped? :)
First of all - don't cross post again or you will get yourself banned. It is quite enough to write a single topic.
Regarding search - you can already use Joomla smart search with Seblod. Seblod searches are not the same type of search, they are more meant to be used with dropdowns etc that with free text.

The issue with Smart Search is that you miss out on Seblods great position override posibilities and you can not make smarth search weight fields created on Seblod content types. So it's rendered useless if one ads extra fields to a content type.
