Hi,

im new to seblod and i have to implement a form where one is able to enter data in a threefold nested way. for example: the main record contains general account data like customer-no, firstname, lastname. for each account it should be possible to enter multiple addresses and each address again contains multiple item-records.

i read many posts about group-x but i didn't find a solution. i didn't use group-x yet, so i don't know how powerful this feature is but in some of the posts it was mentioned that multiple nesting is not possible.

i also thought about implementing nesting-level 2 and 3 (addresses and items) "by hand" by duplicating form-parts in the browser with java-script and saving this data on submit by custom code using features like field42 (did something similar with chronoforms already). but when it comes to displaying an already stored record, i have no plan how to customize the form-render functionality so that it would display the records stored for level 2 and 3.

maybe one idea would be to implement some ajax-calls that fetch this data after the browser rendered the standard form but i would feel much better if there was a way to do all this in seblod without the need of implementing much custom stuff.

thanks and regards

Christian
