It should work with latest Seblod unless you are using one of unsupported formats with day or month names.

Unfortunately even with the latest joomla and seblod and with a Y-m-d format, it is not working or I missed something

Works fine for me, I tested with French and Y-m-d H:i:s format and calendar selector (no manual input)

Here is what I did:

1- in a content type admin form  I created a calendar field with the standard Y-m-d format : actually I changed nothing. I discarted the field and created a fieldx that takes the first calendar field. again I left the standard parameters (storage)

2- in the admin I create a new content from this content type. In the fieldX I just entered one date (clicking on the caledar icon). When I save the content it crashes with the error

I reproduce the error on two debian servers

You should not use default storages for field x - use Custom-Article-parentname for parent and Custom-Article-parentname[childname] for child. None for child should also work but in reality you can get some problems when searching etc (None is offically recommended by Seblod...)

Yes Klas I know this too and tested as you wrote since this is the seblod recommended way for fieldX and GroupX but this is not working

Hi Cyril and hi Klas,

I have the same problem. If I use the Calendar field all date formats is ok. But if I set the Calendar field as "Field" in FieldX, when I press the submit button, the browser load this message:

0 You either used wrong format or locale set by language file is not supported on your server - it_IT.utf8

PS: I opened a ticket to my host but seem the server settings are ok.
