Hi all!

I've stored all my field values in #_content table, and can also import articles there. But, Seblod does not recognize those articles as seblod-made content.
What entries are needed in the #_assets table? (And, are there some more tables that need to be respected?)

Thanks & Regards,

Marc

Hello marcmuller,

welcome on SEBLOD forum.

Have a look at the tutorial "CSV import with addon Importer" below.

You don't need to manage any tables manually. SEBLOD do that for you.

The assets table is something that we NEVER manage manually, all is automaticaly done by Joomla!

I also suggest you to have a look to tutorials for beginner (see link below)

Best regards.

Hi Lionel!

Thanks for the welcome! Its my second time on this forums, for I already used seblod with J1.5 a few years ago :-)

I've read through the CSV-Import tutorial. One question: In the CSV - the name of the rows correspond with field names?

Thanks & Regards, Marc

Hello marcmuller,

the first row of the CSV file must contain the database storage name of each field. (like the head for a table)

Best regards.

I have to move LQM to a Joomla 3 site.  Can I use the importer to do this?   The tabels are in the current db and come  from joomla 1.5

Just an addition for future readers:

Make sure you've got the "title" and "catid" columns in your .CSV, as those are not being mapped - even if you have custom fields that will store in the corresponding database tables.

This took me a few hours.

Regarding your response to marcmueller's problem i suppose that alternative csv import tools can work with seblod too since the file is imported in the db in any case?

It is probably possible, but not very easy as Seblod uses a lot of related tables that need to be filled on import. I would not recommend using anything but importer.
