I don't want to use 3rd party extension, is it possible to create email notification when registered user creates new item? I think I have to use email field in my form. Can anybody show me tutorial, example or general steps.

on your form, add the Email field.
check the settings for those who submit.

I assume the OP meant an email notification to an Admin or other known email address.
But what if you want to notify the user. Here is my own topic:
