We are working on a project with Joomla 3.
To show "hot news" we decided to use the module "Highlighter GK4", it's perfect for ours needs.
is it free module ? or for member only ?
It's a free module.
Just need to login to download it.

I have downloaded and installed News Show Pro GK4 it worked for me perfectly, I chose Categories from "Source of Articles" field, in Data Source Tab; and selected the categories i would like to show the articles of. See picture
Also I have checked it by choosing Joomla Articles from Data Source Tab and added IDs of Articles in "Articles" field with comma seperated (i.e. 1,21). See picture

I am Using GK stuff to With SEBLOD it should be already compatible simply put the highlighting code in any fild or make a own fild that wraps the input with [tag] [/tag] it will get processed ^^

Thank you to sharing your experience, but i'm talking about "Highlighter GK4", not "News Show Pro GK4" :)
I found the good configuration to display articles from CCK :
Clean (X)HTML : Enable
Parse plugins : Disable
Clean plugins : Enable
But, some code appear before : ::cck::12::/cck::::introtext::

You need to put "Parse plugin" option to ON and to not cut description/introtext.

This Is Probally Realy a bug of GK Highlighter ill fix that today !! i did it with news show pro too simply wait some hours till i got time i think it is the same as in news show pro ^^ GK uses a bad switch to detect SEBLOD ^^
