Hi core developers ,

Since a while I put some projects on a freeze while awaiting the exiting new release of J3.2 and Seblod 3.2. Contrary to many negative comments I read in the past regarding 'products one has to pay for', I do have a lot of respect for the developers who applied their knowledge (time) and skill to make it easier on us to go ahead with the core of our goal: 'Develop good websites with an engine which is efficient and convenient as for the client as for the developer to optimize a visitor's experience (the public)'.

Now, my quest is quite simple and straightforward: Could the team also offer a global price (€100 or € 200 or whatever) whereby I for example, would pay a fixed price to gain access to all product so I could experiment and use any of those products wherever and whenever at will?

The reason why I ask this is quite simple: As I found the right vehicle J+S 3.2 (and willing to pay for the right to integrate associated products) it is frustrating that while developing and playing around, I am limited to toss around whether or not some extras might be useful or not. I'd rather pay € xx upfront and feel free to play with no barriers while developing sites ..

Your vision on this will be highly appreciated;

Kind regards,
Bernard

Hi Seblod Core Team and participants on the Forum,
I have a great admiration for the work you are doing, and I am everyday looking if Seblod 3.2 is born. I have installed Joomla 3.2 since it was launched, and found that there are some bugs when try to configurate, and receive the "Fatal..."; so installing the S3.2 is a must.

I also have seen how shifting from a "pure" collaborative community development system (of course with a high weight on the Seblod team) had a very positive participation of the Seblod community, and everyone was willing to test and share their results. The Seblod 2 Forum is a proof of this. I still consult it to get answers, or to remember those.

With the new hibrid sytem, between collaboration and business, I have seen that some agressive tone has been noted in the forum. It would be not positive to be with the "worst of both worlds". Even, one comment has been very rude and offending.

I clear understand that any project should be self sustainable, and the cost be shared with the people who benefit. I like the idea of a fix cost for the whole system, and everyone that would be willing to pay as Bermard sugest, 100 euros, would be entering to the collaborative world. But for most of others, but are not seen the return of the investment in the short term, may be keep outside, and the Seblod community may be reduced, and a great contribution will be lost.

I propose with all respect, that while in the developing phase, until we get to Seblod 3.5 and Joomla 3.5 (both system ready for production, the app may be on "test" for free. I am willing to install in my development site, the alphas and betas, and feedback on problems, and even if I am not a programer, I could give very important information to developers.

I am a convinced that this wordl will be better with a balance of collaboration and competition. Actually most of us came to Joomla with the paradigma of "All together" meaning of Joomla in some asian language. And Seblod has been the upgrade of that concept.

And quoting Bernard: "Your vision on this will be highly appreciated".

Great post @r2d2Melv. I can see your point also. Seblod has to do what works for them I guess - we'll see =)
