It seems it should work, but has not been fully tested. I've used seblod 3.8.4 on rc-2 without problems, haven't tested with final yet. But as always it is better to wait unless you need any of the small features added in 3.6. as usually there are hidden bugs in each major release of Joomla and minor release follows soon,

Editing content items (articles and such), using the Joomla edit icon in the front-end takes the user to the home page instead of opening the edit form.

Using the Seblod edit icon/link opens up the edit form correctly, though I don't want to use it because it won't check out the article, thus running a risk that one user will override another user's changes if they're both accidentally editing simultaneously.

there is currently no known issue between seblod 3.8.4 and j 3.6 so it is safe to upgrade, but as always backup before, so in case some issue does arise you have a working backup to go back to
