I created a new New List & Search Type and specified the Map template. However, when I go to List View and click Template, the Map template does not show up as an option in the dropdown list. Only Blog and Table appear. I'm running Joomla 3.4.5 and Seblod 3.7.2 Thanks in advance for any help.

I did see those instructions but get an error when trying to add the map template in the Seblod template manager. I installed it normally with the Joomla extension manager. Then I went to Construction > Templates and see the map template seb_maps in the list there (with type list). I followed the instructions:
Go to Construction->Templates and choose NEW. Add a title, under Name choose “seb_maps” and for Type choose “list”. Then save in close. Now it will be an available template for the Item view of a List & Search Type.
When doing that I get the following error.

Save failed with the following error: Duplicate entry 'seb_map' for key 'name' SQL=INSERT INTO `pq308_cck_core_templates` (`id`,`title`,`name`,`folder`,`mode`,`description`,`featured`,`published`) VALUES ('','Google Map Seblod','seb_map','1','2','','0','1')
If you go to
administrator/index.php?option=com_cck&view=templates
can you see the template on the list? Is it published?
Yes it is published.
I used the map template last year for a different client and had no issues like this.... so am perplexed. I appreciate your help with this!
If it it visible on this list it should also be visible in dropdown, no idea what could go wrong there
I just installed SEBLOD at an entirely different Joomla 3.0 site and then followed the exact instructions for installing the map template. The map template is shown in the SEBLOD template list and is published. When I create a new template and select the map, I get the same duplicate entry error:

I checked template and seems those installation instructions are outdated:
a) template auto appears as list template and if you try to add it you get the above duplicate error. So you just need to install it as any other extension, then you can start using it
b) it is List template not Item
