Hi there,
I'm not sure I fully understand what you are asking here - but can't you just assign your serial number field to the first column of the table template?

Actually serial number is not a field, but I want to display the incremental numbers in the first column in every row regardless of the row's ID in the DB.
Just like ordered list, but in the first column of the table.
