I hope someone is able to point me in the right direction here or to a tutorial.
I would like to create an availability system using Seblod,
I have setup a simple test system where I have created a rental item with a date from and to, I have created a booking item with a related field to the rental and a date from and to but what I am struggling to understand is how to now compare or show a period of dates / days available for the rental taking into account the fact that it is not available during the dates of the booking.
I am sure this is somehow possible using Seblod but I have a bit of a brain block on how to create this kind of setup.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much for your reply, I had found while searching previously the calender template which looks great.
However, my main problem is that I do not understand how to use Seblod to compare the dates an item is available to the dates it is booked and then show a list of the days a rental item e.g. a car is available for someone else to book it.
for example
the car is available from 1st January to 1st dec
you book it from 1st feb to 14th feb
so now when you look at the car to see when it is available i need to show the days that it is available and the days it is not available because it has a booking on on it.

Hi Matt,
A validation plugin on the calendar to determine if the date is valid or not is what you need. When selecting the date, it should run a query to compare dates and determine if there are any other dates scheduled.
I am not aware of any published plugin, so you might have to write your own using the developer or contact Octopoos directly.
