Hello there,

i have the gmap plugin from Seblod store up and running. The map is stored in a Module and will be called in a form with the module-field.

Anyway, is there a way to toogle the view to the "streetview" view?

The best way woud be if i could bring in a button (freetext field?) with an jquerry snippet that i can implement on my customized template.

Thanks in advance & best regards

Sebastian

Hi,

google maps already includes a way to activate street view by itself, just drag a little orange person bellow the zoom control to the desired location, is this not good enough?

Hi Klas,

well the customer wants to have a single extra button to let visitors of the site switch between normal and streetview.
Because some people dont know for what the little yellow/ orange man is...

Well,
https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/streetview
https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/examples/streetview-simple

A bit of the problem you will run into is you can't just switch as you need to give it exact location while map covers wider area.

Thanks Klas, i found another way to do the job - i created an gmaps-app and overtake the variable longitude and latitude to display my map and switch to streetview.

Thanks for your effort & best regards

The only problem that i have is that the new google maps api v3 dont know to resize a hiden map...?!

@s16f, do you mind sharing a link to the gmap plugin? I don't see it in the Seblod store (only the Map template). Thanks much, P
