For information, fatal error in \libraries\cck\rendering\document\html\html.php
I've just installed Seblod 3.8.4 on a J3.6.2 fresh installation. I'm "playing" with the interface to see what can be done.
By editing the "seb_one" template and selecting f.i. "beez3" (option=com_cck&view=template&layout=edit&id=1), then I get a lot of E_Notice and one fatal error.
Here is the message :
Fatal error: Access to undeclared static property: CCK_Document::$_buffer in \libraries\cck\rendering\document\html\html.php on line 168
(Probably I'm doing something wrong... just playing with the interface)

do you mean that you tried to change tempalte Name (you selected different template in dropdown) ? If this is the case then yes, this options should not be available I think, beez is not seblod template. Not sure why we even have that,
Yes, this is what I've done and has conducted to the PHP fatal error.

Not sure what you know, so just in case...
Seblod templates are purely for Content Area.
Joomla templates are for CONTENT and modules that surround content i.e. the page.
I made a ticket for this, but I'm not sure this can be fixed as I don't know if there is any way to differentiate seblod and non-seblod templates before they are defined here (in seblod temlate editor)
