Hi,

What version of Joomla/Seblod are you using?  If you are using Joomla 3.2, then under the Template Column you can select the template to edit the files / options?  Is that what you are looking for?

Hello! I am using Joomla 2.5, so under Admin > Extensions > Template Manager > "my theme" is the problem, not for editing core files. So I want to access this menu, but it seems that SEBLOD has modified it's structure when I access it because the items that are there can no longer be modified. It's a very serious issue due to the fact that there are options like layouts, etc...Also, it's an internal website so I cannot provide a link due to confidentiality policy and I noticed I cannot upload an image on he forum, also... Do you know what the problem could be? SEBLOD interacting with internal layouts?

Hi Mike,

SEBLOD does add some templates, but there is nothing that it does to existing templates.   Do you notice the different views right under the Template Manager title.  You can switch between the Styles/Templates.

Hello Octopoos!

This is what I did:
1. Check under TEMPLATE MANAGER >accessed MY THEME - where are all the theme options
2. Install CCK and tried to redo the steps. But this time, when I acces MY THEME - where all the options where, they were all messed up (i could not click on any layout options, etc...). I checked with S5 and it's not related to them
3. Disabled from EXTENSION MANAGER > MANAGE > All the CCK related items. Still the problem persisted
4. Uninstalled CCK and the MY THEME options become available again.

Do you know if any of the plugins that CCK installs have anything to do with that specific part of the admin? I did all that in a test environment because I have already populated my live website and I cannot delete CCK from that one :(

Hi !

Also, I am also using extendedreg, for example, as a component on my website, and the same thing. In the back-end, it has tabs with different options, for every aspect that it offers. Now, after installing CCK it only shows me those as links, not tabs, and they are not accessible...

Can you please help me with this burning issue? Because I like very much CCK, i think it suits my need 110% but unfortunately has these problems with the admin panel...

Hi Mike,

Can you check the other templates and see if their options are also gone?  When you are trying to edit the templates which URL you are going to: administrator/index.php?option=com_templates&view=templates
or
administrator/index.php?option=com_templates&view=styles

If you are in the Template Manager, and you have the Styles View option, you should be able to edit the files if you select the link in the Templates column.  Otherwise if you are in the Templates View, you should be able to edit the files if you select the link that says Details and Files.  Are these the links that are broken?  If thats the case, perhaps there is another extension that is causing problems?

With SEBLOD, there is no need for extededreg, so I dont know too much about it, but you might check the plugin order.
